We've mentioned it before but this advert from October 1957 clarifies how the gun was assembled and sold, and moves it back a year. The gun has three distinct sections and was sold in three combinations: The central main part on its own was sold as the Atomic Hand Gun, With an extended nozzle and sight it's the Scorpion Hip Gun With a long bazooka addition it's the Supersonic Defender Gun.
