The ethics of copying robots part 2..Quality above quantity 3D the next level.

I think I said it all in the title but to elaborate.

When it comes to copying classic toy robots to be able to actually use the original robots name does anyone feel as I do there should be accuracy and quality involved.

If it's a badly finished poor representation of an original classic then sell it but sell it cheaply that way as the saying goes ' You get what you pay for'

If it's a prototype then at least go for an accurate copy that has working features this could then reflect the high price.

I'm not getting on my high horse I just feel 3D, this pioneering building technique needs some sort of quality control.

Kev I am not against 3D prints in fact I have Brian's Man of Steel on order.

I just don't like rough finished copies of tin classics.

With unique robots, prototypes, obscure movie robots if they have never been produced as a toy/model or in kit form 3D is a great way of owning a 3 dimensional representation of these robots.
