If I saw that correctly, Looks like the antenna switches direction with each button press

don't recall seeing another toy's antenna switch like that

or am I senile ? Either way a very cool toy 

Correct Name is High-Bouncer Moon Scout 

There is a Marx Branded ( logo ) high bouncer ball (super ball) 

on ebay , larger size around 2 inch so they were competeing with Wham-O 

If i remember correctly the small marx balls were also gray with this same logo 

that came with this toy

Oz the antenna rotates one direction when walking and rotates the other direction when shooting balls, as explained in the motor direction changing, worm gear driving, gear box changing set up. So yes it changes direction but not with each press of the button unless you just happen to press a different button each time.

Nice mechanical coverage, John, your videos are quite enthralling. I've always been curious as to where the term "high bounce" comes from. Obviously, the toy does not bounce, it strides like all other robots, so it applies to the balls it shoots, eh?
