Fantastic. You know you have a ready made fan here.

Will hunt about and post my discovery's at a later date.

I will try and be subjective as we won't want overkill.

Maybe the theme idea will also work here . 🚀

Thanks. I think i'll stick to the theme and just post a few bits to it. I'm thinking of doing some Electrical Experimenter magazine pieces form 1915 next

Nice.

A quick nod to a mag that I used to buy in the 70s and 80s.

Heavy Metal

The covers were a bit risqué but inside it had some great story's and artwork.

Great covers. Iv got the first few years and the stores and artwork are great. The first cover with the two robots is iconic

Archie is such a great desing I'm gonna have to get a robot made of him. The Mytex covers are from the Spanish language and Mexican versions and Hotspur was a UK comic

Automaton.

I am English and of an age when the Hotspur, Lion, Eagle etc were all around me. To my shame as a kid and early teen I was far more into Marvel and D.C.

Only recently have I appreciated the British comics artwork.

BTW there are a few 3D model builders on this forum.

Just get more involved in the main robot talk where you can put all your model building ideas out. You never know what might come out of it.

Steve.  😉

Look at the post

Russian Robot 3D build.

That all started from an obscure pic of a Russian robot we discovered.
