Brian..
The complicated and large Luno Rocket Race to the Moon, made by the English company Balyna, more famous for their soccer games. Underneath the gridded playing area there's a rotating disk with electrical contacts. Each time you play you give the disk a spin: this positions the contacts in random places. The rockets have magnetic bases. When you place a rocket above one of the contacts it lifts a metal bar, makes a connection and the lights switch on. Phew. Rather serious graphics.
