DEEP SPACE-11
When Marco and I first discussed the box for Gosstavo my first inclination would have been dark and more propaganda or WPA poster like, however Marco wanted to make it "happier"---more of a celebration including Henk's town of Leiden, windmills, tulips etc In the end I think he is right. As I started researching Leiden, the red flag with the keys kept coming up----not hard to see where inspiration for Henk's split logo came from! The lead robot has blue eyes as tribute to Henk's blue eyed Gustav prototype, the Alphadrome flag seemed necessary as that is what brought most of us together with Henk (with Brian's permission of course). The check boxes on the bottom flap were inspired by the Sparkling MIke/Robot 5 variation box. Top flap is nod to Marco's 3D printer technology.
