I have a Mr. atom robot from the 50's with a very noisy gear box and any suggestions would be appreciated---Would white lithium grease be okay------Thanks in advance !!! robothut Posted May 1, 2016 Share Posted May 1, 2016 Nylon can take every type of grease but like you say some plastic not so much. Normally when things get noisy its the motor bearing that need just a drop of 3 in 1 type oil. The white lithium should be safe also. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
