Hey maimo65, how are you!

Here is the robot you noticed - it's one of Brian's creations that I painted.   Here's the 3d thread about that Doctor Satan's robot family.

Here's a shot of the big guy with the little cousin of your ARM.
Cheers!

Thanks Ratchet :)

The cabinet...uh.   the entire room is a huge mess at the moment - health problems caught me in the middle of re-organizing, cleaning and working on some projects.

Too much juggling, lol.

Soon, i'll catch a breath and get on top of it

Here are a couple that i was lucky to get - thanks go to Ranger.

Cheers,

I have seen those robots already but i can't remember their names. Can you refresh my memory Kirk?  Did the one on the right side loose its feet?

Hi Stephane, they are the pair from Giroplast, made in Argentina.

I need to get a video of them bumping around.    Funny little action.

The database shows both versions - oddly enough, the plastic footed versions are flawed in the same location.

**edit** I just noticed the database reads that the footed version is a pin walker - not the case... the both wobble about with the aid of an out of balance flywheel.

Cheers

A video would be great. I imagine they move like the yone jumping robot.

The plastic feet look like lego brick glued on the body. I prefer the metal ones, I curious to see how it looks underneath. Anyway, they will fit well with their new fellows at your home.

Any ideas when they were made?

They're the same toy.

Very cool, thanks Brian.

I think this came from Kevin / Moonman - then to Paul... then to me.

i'm not certain when they were made - most notes that I can find say the '60's.

The action is different than the yone hoppers.    I'll add some better photos and a video later - winter blessed us with another 7 inches of snow, so I need to climb on a tractor for awhile, lol...

I do think there is another youtube vid also.

Cheers,
