ckalkhof
One of these days I would like to get a high speed camera and get some good slow motion vids. This is 120fps with a Sony action cam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBUL40RkK3I
David Kirk
That's a great movie. I still have my Explo - I don't remember when it's from, maybe 1970? I never realized what a simple trick the exploding part is. It's pretty much like Egbert, just flying up and falling apart on the way down. ckalkhof
Yes - definitely early 70's. I had one when I was a kid and recently reacquired one a few days ago. It's good to have him back!

Tinplate6
It's a miracle that these survived at all, particularly the antenna, a few routines, and *snap*!
robothut
Way back before I had a you tube account I used to put all the video files on my web site.http://www.robothut.robotnut.com/vids.htmlSo you can see many rare toys there still in action in cluding EXPLO but not in the very cool slow mo, just real time distruction. Its about 3/4 down the page.
