bartzenegger
I know I've brought this up before, but there is anotheradvantage of using cheap carbon batteries in stead ofalkalines. Carbon batteries are less likely to burn outthe low voltage lights in battery operated toys. A coupleyears ago, I saw a fresh set of Duracells blow out botheye bulbs in a R-35, OUCH ! If you put a voltmeter acrosscarbon batteries, the voltage drops considerably whenthe toy is switched on. Try the same thing with alkalinesand the voltage barely moves. Carbon batteries are lighterand generally have a smaller diameter than alkalines. Tryfitting Energizers in the legs of a Smoking or Mechanizedrobot... :o good point - smoking robot - the batteries just dnt fit quit right same with my mech!
