Joe K.
. As seen in this Fall 1981 Harmony catalog: Other items of interest include a Space Capsule playhouse (Astro II) made of corrugated fiberboard (above), a Space Kaleidoscope, and Bendable Mighty Space Warriors (below): Note the "chain of command" for the manufacturer: Harmony, Continental Plastics Corporation, subsidiary of Ideal Toy Corporation The 1980s were definitely a time of corporate acquisitions and take-overs! There is also a yellow color variation. Here's the Database image: These are sometimes referred to as "go-float" robots based on the description found on this box, whose manufacturer is still to be determined. Brian..
Bingo, Joe! Great find. I've heard of different colors of the Go-Float but not a different name. Xris, how many colors are there?
Ranger
Never seen the grey one with green arms/wheels. I have a grey one but it has red arms/wheels and front spinner, the same as the yellow one in the picture. On the robot it just says 'Made In Hong Kong'. On the box N0,148. robothut
Yes mine is the standard yellow with red, the gray seems to be hard to find and the green parts make it even more so.
kennetzel
I have one of these too. It's the standard yellow color. I didn't know they came in others. Have to keep my eyes open.
