Steve's Bots and Rays
It's been a while since I've posted but I've been lurking about. I've only recently been able to get back to the workshop. Here are my latest creations. I've continued with the saucer theme started with my previous Aoshin and X-15 builds. These saucer 'lamps' have borrowed interest from the flying saucer lamps I've seen, but with my own spin...so to speak. The saucer with the beam of light contains a spinning robot (ornament) instead of the usual farm animal abduction. The bots are being recalled I guess. Anyhoo, there is a motor that spins the bot slowly within the glass 'light beam'. In a darkened room he seems to be levitating. The paint color choice is straight off of a flying saucer coin bank I have. That color along with the chrome accents really presses the nostalgia button for me. I have another saucer lamp that I'll post next. Thanks for looking. -Steve

David Kirk
Nice. If you put a scantily clad space princess in there you could probably sell a bunch.

Steve's Bots and Rays
This saucer lamp has flicker bulbs and a remote control multi-color LED bulb. It controls not only color choice but brightness and fade. Thanks for looking. -Steve

Roboto
Fantastic Saucers. The first version really stands out and the second version has that War of the Worlds look to it with its top blaster head.
