I never realized how many variations there are on this bot. I have this one...it plays weird tones and then some Christmas Music, depending where you set the switch.

Jeez, you can't beat this internet thing. Not one new Lambda, but two, though they're not officially called Lambda. From Gilbert's archive we now have identification of Joe's find,

Both are from Korea.

Yes Joe, I saw one of these about 6 months ago on e-bay and did a second-glance but didn't think too much of it at the time. Kelly and I have the regular known variations but not this one. Haven't seen one since...thought it was already in the database.

Great as a new addition on the database Joe, Brian. There are always more strange robot variations popping up.

Brian - Here's a close-up of the Space Robot Super Machine's panel.

Looks like the paper sticker is lifting away in the lower right hand corner.

It's not litho'd tin.

The box has no indication of country of origin, my robot has a paper sticker on the back that says MADE IN KOREA, not a paper sticker with a symbol.

That robot is a robot made by Songrim. It was probably a birthday present from my grandfather. But my younger brother broke it while playing;; And the word (품) on the back of the robot is just a sticker that you can buy in Korea if it's a safe toy.

No, it's not Lambda 2. That robot is a copy of Lambda 2 from Korea. The name of the robot is Space Robot.
