cowens
So, I always see a lot of vintage catalog ads on the forums and I've never figured out how you guys are finding these. How do you search for those old ads?
Morbius
Vintage catalogue searches on e-bay for one, I've been tempted many times to buy these but they've gone thru the roof over the past few years. I tried for one last night and it went up 500% in the last minute or so. Keep searching under your title of store and you may come up with it. Usually robots were available only at Christmas so many Xmas catalogues will have many of the popular toys of the time. You can also find single pages from these catalogues at reasonable Buy It Now on e-bay from time to time. BTW welcome to Alphadrome cowens! Best of luck with your collecting. robothut
One of the largest collections of catalog adds on Alphadrome is one I did and I would put a link to it here but I can't find it. Any way a search for Cristmas catologs on line took me to lots of sites were I would go threw all the pages of each year of every catolog I could find then copy the pages with robots and post them here. 100's of hours. for nothing I guess. I realy like looking at old catalog adds for space toys and robots . Here is one of the web sites that has alot of toy catologs that you can look threw page by page. http://www.wishbookweb.com/ here is another one. https://www.flickr.com/photos/wishbook/collections/72157630283853304/
