Only 18 years old this radio would be in '66, one of those cheap props they happened to have around at the time and with a few modifications becomes a Tricorder.

As Darryl (Robotnut) mentioned to me on our Botstock trip this year, LoSt In SpAcE used whatever props they could find to create items or creatures for the show, Mardi Gras... or carrot they were 'on hand and ready'. :scratchhead::breakit::rolling:

Interesting comparison. Thanks for posting! Props aside, it's amazing these two shows were on the air at the same time! Sci Fi at both ends of the spectrum. -Steve
