marco
I am pretty sure that the whole world watched THE goal of Robin van Persie in their first match against Spain. The goal van Persie made was really out of this planet and that brings us to robots and spacetoys :) all what is out of this planet hits us all :) The "flight" of van Persie became worldfamous in a day and is called PERSIEING... ( New variation of Planking ) Awesome BUT........................ I discovered today that van Persie`s Flight was not really original.... PERSIEING is originally called: TETSUJING and was invented in Japan in the sixties... Here is the proof :) ! I know you USA guys are not really into soccer allthough USA is playing at the worldcup in Brasil of course ! Anyway... the connection to robots and spacetoys was there... Enjoy the games Cheers Marco

marco
Oh yeah man :) # 28 would suit him much better :) Does that Worldchampionship lives a bit in the USA ? Here in europe all work, traffic and social life stops when the matches are played everybody is in front of the television than ;)
Lunik
I've always thought, Persieing relates to Pershing (MGM-31 Pershing, ballistic missile of the 1960's - 1970's). Just compare the colours of the sports dress.
