Joe K.
. Here's a recently ended eBay auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yonezawa-Piston-Robot-Japan-Vintage-Space-Toy-/191088669391?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20261%26meid%3D5230435480417440846%26pid%3D100034%26prg%3D9059%26rk%3D0%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D291093018717&nma=true&si=NTudGCwwZusQVJ2OIFGADJLGEsM%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc White body with black arms and legs. Smooth "toes". Perhaps missing the Mr. Piston sticker on the front (unless this is the older version). I wonder if the other color variations, as shown in the Database, have this 1981 copyright info embossed on their backs? .
Morbius
New versions of the Piston Robot seem to pop up with regularity now., where have they been hiding, are they possibly variations from Europe?? Maybe they've been continuously manufactured through 'modern' times like the plastic hand Planet Robot, their boots are similar to the ones found on the 'Monster Robot', the one with the horns and dinosaur (splitting) head (c.1984??) so they are obviously more recent.
