1955 - Electric Robot & Son By Marx

Here's the "& Son" version of this Marx masterpiece.

I was always of the opinion that "Electric Robot" was produced first, followed by "Electric Robot & Son". I'm beginning to think it may be the other way 'round!

I recently came across this toy catologue for sale ,,among other toy's it shows the Marx Electric robot and son for sale ,,the name and year of the catologue is 'The Montgomery Ward Christmas catologue the seller says it's 1955,,,,,,,In the Alphadrome Time line I see you have the first sighting [also in a Christmas catologue] as 1956.

here's the pic.. :)Sadly though theres no date I can actually see ,so do we just take the sellers word on it?

The M.W. Christmas Catalog reprint book I have shows that the cover is dated "1955" so the seller is correct.
