Tinman Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 A recent addition to my collection...a Space Speed Kings (Captain Universe) puzzle; measures about 10x11 inches.
RenMarx Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Perfect piece for your collection, Bill! Perry
Tinman Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Thanks guys, I'm finding the puzzles make good back-drops and add some height to the displays.
Tinman Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 Space toy display update...still a work in progress.
Electric Robot and Son Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Looks really great Bill! Is the space ceiling light in the cabinet or a reflection of it on the ceiling?
Tinman Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Thanks guys. Yes, its a reflection of my ceiling fixture...does kinda look like it's inside the cabinet.
dratomic Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Just beautiful, Bill! I always love seeing those colorful, plastic ships and cars.
Tinman Posted September 5, 2015 Author Posted September 5, 2015 I've been looking for a case to display some of my spacemen and finally settled on this style, although I'm not sure I like the mirrored back. I also picked up this Tom Corbett Space Cadet badge, which is one of those items that looks bigger in pictures; it measures at about 2 inches from point to point.
Morbius Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Looks great, nice choice! Now you have twice as many as you thought you did.
I Robot Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Really nice display and case too! I have a mirrored back on one of my cases as well...it's a perfect look! Wonderful artwork on the Space Speed Kings puzzle. Congrats!
