RoboCopy
Had a nice boxed original Nomura - Rosko Astronaut arrive the other day but unfortunately it doesn't move although it does make a hell of a lot of noise and both lights work too. I opened him up carefully but can't see what's wrong. All wires are attached and the gears move freely. I can't figure out how the mechanism switches from beeping back to moving so help needed please! Cheers RC

RoboCopy
John, Before I do that and open up the housing, can I just check why I'm not getting any power to the motor? Many thanks for your help!

RoboCopy
John, The noise is coming from the beeper which appears permanently switched on (together with both lights) Nothings seems to be spinning in the motor although I can move the gears manually. SH MIKE
Try putting a drop of oil on the motor shaft on both ends of the motor. Then wiggle the pinion gear.
