I believe this is the Hong Kong (HK Star logo) Super Space Explorer:

As opposed to the Horikawa Radar Robot version:

I am basing this on the part of the description that says the robot swings his arms. The Horikawa Radar Robot has stationary arms. Can anyone confirm that the Hong Kong Super Space Explorer has swinging arms?

Also, there is a slight difference in the area of the ears where they attach to the sides of the head.

Never saw a blue TV robot in horikawa design  and I don´t believe there is any. All the robots shown above have the look of twins.

We know the blue Horikawa Radar Robot came out in 1972. It is not unusual to see him in FAO Schwarz catalogue of Fall/Winter 1972/1973.

In Germany he also appeared in the 1972/73 Fall/Winter catalogue of Quelle. Could it be possible, a Hong Kong copy could appear so fast after its pattern at the same time?

Swinging arms! All Horikawa robots have swinging arms with exception of all the Rotate/Swivel-O-Matic types - the mechanics would have been very complicated - and all TV robots, cause there is not enough space for a swinging arms mechanic beside the picture reel.

I believe the second robot picture shows the wrong box. It´s the usual Radar Robot. A robot or another space toy with wrong box happened from time to time. The swinging arms as mentioned in the FAO catalogue is a wrong description simply. However I´ll quit, if someone posts a big pic of a blue Hong Kong robot with Radar Robot style.
