Brian..
Here's a delightful and exceptionally fragile item: the beautifully printed and cut-out set of scraps depicting scenes from the Eagle comic. Prominent are Dan Dare related graphics. The delicate set carries repeated MP initials and the No 1227. The scraps were available for 6d a sheet and a scrapbook for 2/6. Introduced in the Eagle comic in January 1954.
The Toyman
Hi Brian, whilst looking at this I post and spotting " Harris Tweed" I remember buying a mint boxed Pelham puppet of him from the good old Corn Exchange in Manchester. I remember paying 45 pounds and giving it to Roger Stevenson in return for a prototype Professor Mathew Matic Pelham puppet, a fair swap, but to this day I've never seen another Harris Tweed ...they say it's THE rarest Pelham ever produced!
