ANZinSpace
I've recently been thinking about cardboard toys specifically those with a space or robot theme. Most of the early pieces seem to be a form of advertising giveaway and some of the later pieces are build a robot. There are also the "pop" guns which has a folded piece of paper or cardboard which makes a snap or pop sound when you flick the gun. There are also masks and even "rockets" The two I have are a rocket and a mask. Are there any others? A two part toy which would be joined by a rubber band. The top piece has a drawing of a rocket on the top and the bottom piece has a drawing of rocket exhaust and planet. Pulling the top down would stretch the rubber band and when released the shape of the cardboard ensured both pieces flew into the air. Advertising for a US dairy. I've seen a number of these with either other company names on them or as salesman samples to entice a company to buy them. These are not really space toys they're premiums that have space graphics, which is not what I'm thinking of. I'm looking at toys that could be used in active play. Though they could be used by an "astrogator" while steering their spaceship to Mars or some such.
