robobob
I picked up one of the cheap Planet Robots a while back, mainly because I wanted to steal his legs and feet to repair my High-Wheel Robot. This left me withan extra Robby torso lying around, and I also happened to have this saucer.....

robert
That thing looks awesome in the dark! Great job robobob! I have an old Chinese toy Missile-launching tank that I am going to convert to a missile launching Robby tank. These cheap repops are perfect for this type of thing. ;)
larry seven
:) Nice toy, robobob, one question though, would the robot look more at home on that saucer painted the teal or light green color to sort of match that on the saucer? I was thinking of the white, like that on the saucer, but no, that wouldn't look good, but maybe the teal green? Just a thought. I know that these robbies look so good that blue metalflake! I am going to have to pick up a cheap one to repaint in the blue met. myself! -Larry
robobob
Thanks for the kind words everyone !!and L7...Your right, he would have looked more at home if hematched the teal on the saucer. But this was just a cheap and dirty mod, and the only colors I had enoughof were metallic blue and OSHA red. I was just toolazy to drive into town for more paint...
