Banco de Mexico Robot banks

As promised (to Martijn) in another thread,

here is the side by side comparison of the two "piggy" banks from the Banco de Mexico.

(arrived finally after 2 month waiting time from Mexico)

The first one including the antenna is very similar shaped to the Alps Moon explorer.

It is very detaild, but the size is much smaller than the original toy robot.

Arms head and the antenna are movable.

The transparent front chest parts are attached with real srcews.

On the lower part is says "BancOmatico".

Theree is another variant existing of this version which shows some pistons on the lower chest area.

Here is the link inluding a picture of it.

The second bigger version shows similar features, but is also different, modified, more simplified,

the face looks more friendly.

It is missing a yellow/black paper sign below the head which also says "BancOmatico" (see picture of it in the link above).

What still is a mistery to me is the hole in the head.

It really looks that it is missing something.

Anybody has an idea or knowledge what could fit in here ?

It could have been a lamp or even a rocket, of just a pen, who knows.

Feel free to contribute any idea to fill that hole.

Still, even with the strange hole, I like this version a lot.

The small one is 25cm , 29cm including antenna, the big one is 29 cm high.

(for Inches you have to calculate 1 inch equals 2.54 cm)

Could a mushroom fit in that hole?
