The larger version of these figures are tough to find but I was able to obtain this set, each standing at around 1 inch; they're made by the same company as Brady's and are marked with a small version of the LP logo and H. K.

Found these pics on the Moonbase Central site which show a connection to these figures.  The top photo has the "LP" logo in the lower-left corner and the actual figures in the top-center of the card.  After seeing these I realized there's a 6th figure which wasn't included in the set I purchased.

This set was recently up for auction but didn't sell; to me it looks homemade with the "graphics" of the card done in craft paper.  Who knows, we've seen stranger things!

Could this possibly be from inside a 1960s vending machine showing the figures you might win after you deposit your coin... (?)

Interesting thought Mike, it certainly has a handmade look to it but then there's the vacuformed aspect to the card.  I'm guessing the card is about 8 inches tall...maybe for inside a gumball machine?

Here's the cover and an interior page from the 1979 issue of Hong Kong Toys:

Close-up of the center, showing their "new" space toy line:

and the logo and company name:

The "LP Logo" belongs to the LIK BE PLASTIC METAL FACTORY CO.,LTD.

Perhaps they considered LIK BE to be one word, which accounts for the "L" in the logo.

If that's the case, the "P" would represent PLASTIC(?).

More Hong Kong logos derived from these Hong Kong Toys catalogs can be found here:

Here are another version of the LP "robots": about 5 cms (~2") high, with a (keychain???) hole on top of their head, and fluo colors (beside the pink, I've seen them in green and orange).

These are the two inch tall versions with suction cups. Can anyone post a photo of the actual figures?
