kennetzel
Okay, my RC R2 came in today, and as warned, it doesn't work. What is the problem with these...it it always the same? Is it mechanical or electronic? Something a soldering iron will fix, or motherboard? I am usually good with mechanical things, but when it comes to microchips, all bets are off. I turn on the switch, it squeeks, and the red light blinks, then nothing. Anyway...Joe K. requested I post the instructions when I get it...so here they are. I have high res copies if anyone is interested, but low res for here for obvious reasons. Front

Joe K.
. Thanks, Ken. I never knew about the directional head turning function. On the bottom of R2 is that sticker that says in big, bold, red letters: ELECTRONIC DO NOT DROP That's probably the biggest contributing factor in most (all?) of these failing to work. Remember to get those wheels off the ground, if you decide to display it. The rear "O" ring type tires WILL develop flat spots over time. . kennetzel
Thanks for the tip Joe...I have it on the shelf on the wheels...but not any more.
Electric Robot and Son
I have had several of these and I think at least one of them was fully functional. I think another one had one functioning wheel motor. The problem seemed to be blown transistors caused by the motors jamming.
