Phil R
I've been working on another diorama. It didn't start out to be a diorama but when i had trouble with old decals that were disintegrating I decided to customize the rocket. It evolved from there to a diorama. The idea was to create an environment for the rocket. As you know this is the rocket originally from Disneyland. I did some research. using near future technology it has been determined that it would take 6-9 months to reach Mars. However, using a new magnetoplasma rocket that would convert a standard fuel into plasma gas would shorten the trip to about 1-1/2 months making Mars a vacation site much more feasible. See the Link. My Mars Liner would use specially designed spacecraft to be converted easily to living space on Mars. Upon landing an entrance tube would be extended to clients entering the facility. It includes living space, a hydroponics center, and surface trips. The vacation of a lifetime. It can only get bigger and better. you can see Mars moons Phobos and Deimos and Earth in the sky. http://news.discovery.com/space/mars-rocket-vasimr-nasa.html
