My son had the TV on as background noise and it was on the Discovery channel showing mining machinery. They were talking about a dragline and the fact that it's too heavy for wheels or tracks so it walks itself around. They then showed it moving and as soon as I saw that all I could see was the potential for converting it to a robot. Admittedly you'd need a lot of money - apparently $15 million to buy the dragline to start with and then to run it well - it needs it's own power station.
