robothut
Just in time for Botstock 8! Here is Alphabot the robot cookie cuter. I will use this robot cookie cuter to make Ginger bread alphabots, Short Bread Alphabot's and Sugar cookie Alphabot robots that you can eat. I started by enlarging the Alphabot logo to the size that I wanted for a cookie. Then I cut some 3/4 inch wide strips of plated tin and bent it to match the outline of the logo. I secured the tin to plexiglass. Add some vent holes to make releasing the dough easyer from the cookie cuter and 2 brass eye tubes that will line up the mini M&M's for the eyes. I also put in a chest detail part. The nose can be removed or left in be for baking. I hand press in the claw details useing the plastic end from a fancy pen. The trick to making complicated rolled cookies is to chill the dough roll it out very thin so that it will release from the cuter and to find a resipe that is is dimensionally stable. If you use a dough that rises or spreds alot then you will not have a robot looking cookie in the end http://www.robothut.robotnut.com/AlphabotCookiePage.html
