Hillbilly Robot
Boxzet is a paper craft web site where you can download and build 24 creations that fit into a box. They are all free. The first one displayed is the robot. What I like best is the graphic work to make the box and background display (background below) look like classic 1950's robotalia (is that a word?). Then, use transparency paper to create the window for the box. Comes with a tongue-in-cheek instruction set to fold into the box.

Hillbilly Robot
Mine's done! (sans window) Nice job. I have to get ink for my printer before attempting it.
Action Robot
Great fun! I've downloaded my copy and can't wait to play! The website is an open-source project...looks like it was done by a graphic designer/artist as an art project. They have a downloadable template for Photoshop and one for Illustrator and encourage you to submit your own designs to share with the world. I'd love to see what some of the members of this community could come up with!
