Polish: Brightening Up Silver, Gold Chrome Plastic Parts

Sparkrobot

Recommended Posts

I bought a cheap and what turned out to be a great bargain Super space attacker robot from a toy fair last weekend [ I did a post on him.. http://danefield.com/alpha/forums/index.php/topic/11844-what-wrong-right-attacking-martian/

Amongst the few faults he had there was one thing about him that I thought even I would have a go at restoring.

These were his tired and worn out looking eyes.

While out shopping on Sunday I took a look in our local Pound shop [ Dollar store]

I was looking for a cheap paint and brush set.

What I actually ended up buying was this Silver and Gold Pen and Marker set.

I think the end result came out great ,,it was so easy and acurate with absolutely no mess.

I dont no how long lasting the ink/paint will be but as we know some of the chrome/paint on the plastic robots is not that strong anyway.

here's a before and after pic.
