SarasotaRobby Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 I am working on a couple full size robot projects of robots that are not currently being done in 1:1 scale. One I'd like to see done is Eve from Wall E. There's a lot of Wall E builders, but I've not seen an Eve. The fiberglass body will be easy enough to make using 3D scanning and computer driven foam cutting machines. The real challenge would be the lighting, especially the chase lighting seen around the inside of the collar. The panel inside the head that the eye patterns are projected upon has a specific texture which would have to be manufactured.Done right, the thing could end up costing several grand.
