1956 Patent For Suzy Robette

post-7-1275059346.jpgpost-7-1275059389.jpgThe most unusual thing about the robot is not the sweeping arm action that the patent is so aimed at, for me its the reverse action bicycle wheel type drive. There is a single wheel in the center rear that you set to steer the robot and a single center drive wheel in the front. So here is a picture I took of Suzy and here German friend at the GoodWin collection many years ago. The picture is presented in both 3D and non 3D for those that do not have there red/blue glasses handy.

All these patent drawings are great, John. Thanks for digging them out and posting them!

Has the Marvin Glass connection to Susie Robette been made before? I don't think so.* I never would've thunk it! One more to add to his list of credits. Great stuff!!!
