Rear shot of bot.

The remote has two push control buttons. The switch to the left is the Main power switch. When you push this switch the robot will walk, the LED spinner inside the head will do its thing and the Infinity BRAIN visible from the top of the head will start. The push switch to the right on the remote unit will cycle the Infinity BRAIN threw its 6 different modes of operation and will also turn ON or OFF the electronic sound effects. There is a mechanical clanging and grinding and a spring sound. The remote has 3 AA batterys for the walking and LED spinner in the head and 3AAA batterys for the sound effects and the Infinity BRAIN.

Whoa, someone's been working out! Another unique and professional looking robot John, you haven't produced a bad one yet. However, has anyone noticed that from the front, with the exception of the skinny arms, it looks a lot like Popeye.

Yes the Saturn TV robot legs make it abit stout looking. I tryed smoking robot legs but they were to wide to fit and thunder robot legs but connecting the gear box to the body was going to be a problem. I thought the grill from the TOMMY Sonic robot looked good on the chest. And the remote from the radar robot repro ended up working out well for holding the switches and batterys. The multi strand control cable is from a radio shack "TOMMY" mobile armatron. The LED spinner inside the head was a gift from Joe K. many years ago and the ears are chest guns from the china roto robots repro's. The digital record / play back device this time is a memo recorder built in a display stand that has the figuar from a the SAW movies on it, All electronics surplus has them dirt cheep, just take them apart and replace the little speeker with a larger one, the circuit will work at 3 volts and seems OK at 4.5 volts as well. for less than 2 bucks you can store 30 seconds of sounds.

Here is a box top artwork I made for the robot.
