Jerome
Hey there !I've searched but didn't found any thread about it. So the question is :Is there any simple solution to remove paint from a metallic object ?I need this for side projects, converting different existing parts to creat something different...I know there's the "sand technique" but I can't use this solution. So, ideas ?~THX~
Tyler H
There is this really strong nasty chemical stuff called NAVAL JELLY. People use it to remove rust and corrosion, but it could probably work on paint. They sell it at hardware stores and marine stores.. Ask someone there if itll strip paint
Electric Robot and Son
I have used something called airplane paint stripper (or something like that) and it worked great, but I couldn't find it the last time I was looking for it. I bought Rustoleum auto stripper (got it at the auto store) and it worked well too. Just spray it on wait and scrape or wipe off the finish. Use rubber gloves! Don't spray it near any other painted metal surfaces or you will be sorry.
