Patrol Chief Robot Conversion

Here is my Patrol Chief robot conversion. It has a rotating beacon light in the head just like a real cop car. Also the alternating flashing eyes are like on a cop car. The top dome light turns ON when the motor driven siren is on "about every 6 seconds" the guns in the chest flash and smoke and the belly light turns OFF when the siren turns ON. Standard bump and go action and 2 D cells still power the bot.

The rotating beacon light is done like it is on real cop cars, the reflector rotates and the light stays stationary. I extended the drive from the gear box up too the head to rotate the reflector.

Here is a inside shot. I modifed the bellows for the smoker as discrided in another thread about the Chief Smoky robot. I also changed the pointed cam that operated the bellows to a 1/2 moon type cam so as too get a smother in out action on the bellows. I added a wiper switch to the large gear to control the power too the motor driven siren. The siren is also covered in past custom build threads here on the Drome.

He turned out fantastic. A true Patrol chief with smoking guns blasting away. I love your customs. :)
