Billy on Rocket - Beware!

The Masudaya Billy on a Rocket is up for sale on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/316133248077 However there is history with this piece

 

This toy was first on sale on Yahoo 25 june 2023, and sold for 48000 yen (280€ then). The seller was quite honest as he told that the left leg was missing and replaced by a copy made of resin

 

The new owner sold it on 5 January 2025 to Antique Mike, a Japanese dealer, but, he "forgot" to  mention about the leg, for 114800 Yen (725$)

 

Now it’s for sale on eBay 1800$  But once again the seller has not mentioned the replacement leg.

The seller is adamant it's tin. Take a closer look at that obvious fake left leg.
