Do you know what the Arrakis project is ? You might not find what it is because chat gpt and other sources simply erased all info of course... And why it was shut down? The truth is ... This project tried to use Ai on a smarter scale with "conscience" yesss and after 2 weeks it was shut down... CEO answer " it didn't worked as we wanted Bla Bla Bla but the truth is sinister ... So to save human kind from this... They had to forget it. That's only a drop of water in the ocean... There's a lot more of that but that's ONLY what Ai did, now what is the real Ai ? Of course these little programs we use don't have all these dangerous things, so to everyone who is reading this comment don't be afraid of using these programs i am not trying to scare anyone with what I said before but I just want to talk openly about what this can do if there are no rules
Sparkrobot Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 I'm a bit like Mark with this one. Actually creating anything Ai is beyond me. I can see it as a great ' visualisation tool' but letting it do anything from start to finished product is a lazy non artistic way of creating something in my opinion. I do believe Ai is ultimately a dangerous thing that can be used to con people in believing it's real life. You only have to look at Facebook and YouTube to see the thousands of posts duping innocent dare I say gullible people into believing the images they are looking at are actually real life. What worrys me more are the amount of these 'believers' that you will never convince they are Ai generated images. This thread feels like it's getting heavy so going back to how it started I actually like the Ai generated robots.
Brian.. Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Once again, the results are remarkable, Ozzie. Who would have thought of having legs protrude from a flying saucer? Well, AI did. The prestigious Turner Art Prize has just been won by a Ford Escort covered with a doily. The Tate Gallery of Modern Art is full of unutterable crap. An artwork comprising a banana just sold for 6 million dollars, and Tracy Emin's dirty bed is currently valued at 5 million. So as far as I am concerned AI generated art can't be much worse than the pretentious shite that entertains people with more money than taste. In fact some of it is very powerful. An interesting problem is the question of rights to these images. As I understand it, anything created by AI cannot be copyrighted.

The legs on the saucer was an input error on my part but I can see the beauty of that design with retractable legs Not sure why he didn't end up completely under the dome That's an ai quirk but teaches you to be more & more thorough Here's my attempt at robots driving a car Not sure on copyright law regarding ai images I'm sure it will evolve One "artist" on facebook got his knickers in a twist over my using the term by YoneOzman to describe these so I followed that up with the MasudayOz
