Too bad that a big part of the threads are now unavaible.
Brian.. Posted November 21 Posted November 21 I believe it is possible to unarchive all posts but this is one for Ozzie's technical guy. . To prevent topic becoming archived in future go to alphadrome.net/admin/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&controller=settings&tab=archiving And disable it. In theory this change will ensure that all the archived posts will be unarchived. The latest software updates have to be applied though. The process can take weeks.
ADMINDATA Posted November 22 Posted November 22 We're waiting for his reply hopefully we can update & address this
6Stelab9 Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Thank you Brian and Ozzie. It would be cool If it can be enhanced (for example if the timeline posts can be unarchived).
Hymie Posted November 23 Posted November 23 This video is beyond cool. Thanks for the post (and follow-up). I was deprived of Star Trek during its original network run. I grew up in Baton Rouge, which in the 1960s had only two television stations (and we were not quite close enough to New Orleans to clearly pull in the signals of any of their network affiliates). As I remember it, the two Baton Rouge stations each had primary affiliations with one or another network, and then divvied up some of the more popular programs on the third network. But however it was set up, neither station chose to air Star Trek (though we did get Lost in Space). The same was true, incidentally, for The Addams Family and The Munsters -- we only got the latter. Anyway, I would hear my cousins from Mississippi and Alabama talk about "Star Track" (as they erroneously called it in the early days), and feel entirely left out. They'd talk about Mr. Spock, and I would think, Isn't he some baby doctor? Thankfully, of course, Star Trek went into syndication very soon after it was cancelled by NBC. I have always loved the SNL sketch, by the way, where Elliot Gould arrives aboard the Enterprise, having traveled through space in a '68 Dodge Dart (or some similar nondescript vehicle), to notify Kirk (John Belushi) and the crew of the show's cancellation. I have been a Star Trek fan (if not quite a bona fide "trekker") ever since I watched my first syndicated episode in about 1970, I guess (which I'm pretty sure was "City on the Edge of Forever" -- what a great episode to be baptized with!). So here's my wish this Holiday Season that all my Alphadrome colleagues will live long and prosper!
