My new prize - anyone have some info?

I rec'd a butter box in the mail.  what is it about butter boxes that make them a common robot shipper?

anyway, here's my new prize - (Thanks Mark!)

no markings on him, batteries go in his legs apparently leaving more room in the body for what is a speaker (?).

his chest appears to be a speaker, at least.  with planet and stars on it. 

His back has some great circuitry molded into it too.

He walks, and red LEDs in his eyes flash, but thats all.  and then there's that red button thing on top his head.

nothing happens when I push on it.

 

Looks a similar to  my Horikawa Ranger Robot, but done up in a white copy, but by who?  and where? (Hong Kong? China? Russia< Argentina?)

 

so does anyone recognize this robot?

or know what all its functions might be?

I wonder if I get him talking, what he'll say.  and in what language?

I'll tell you. I know this robot very well. This robot is the 83 robot that a man made as a souvenir at the 83 Robot Science Exhibition, a festival held in Korea in 1983. I repaired this robot. After I repaired it, it moved and made sounds.
