Robby is battery operated stands 13 inch tall and highly detailed with multi-functions. Robby has mechanical walking action, light in his dome and voice tube, and also a special light on his chest. Piston valves bounce up and down and scanner rings spin on each side of his head. When Robby stops, his blaster light blinks with firing sound and is complete with a truly artistically designed box created by Steven Lewis Ryan. RT01 Dark gray U.S.A version made around 1998 with 1000 makes Serial #s from 1-1000 RT01 Dark gray Japan version made around 1999 with 1000 makes Serial #s from 1001-2000 RT01P done in Nickel Plate made in 2000 with only 50 makes. Roboto Posted February 2, 2018 Author Share Posted February 2, 2018 Now we get to the Osaka Robby called the Mechanized Robot which was done from 1991 to their last build in 2015. Over the 24 year range they built almost 3,000 Robby robots in quite a few colors. They walk with mechanical moving legs. The real action is seen inside it's head with colorful lights, spinning parts, pistons pumping up and down. I will list a few with colors and other information as we go along. If other members have special Osaka Robbies with cards plus information, please add to this area so we can have a better record on these larger battery operated versions. Roboto Posted February 2, 2018 Author Share Posted February 2, 2018 Osaka started with there first Black version in 1991 with 1000 makes. They came with Black numbered cards as shown with numbers. As we go along over the years the card print-along with ID#s and colors change. Below we have on cards OT05 and then they added OT14 to the mix. Roboto Posted February 2, 2018 Author Share Posted February 2, 2018 The Gold painted OT05G series with around 150 started in 1991 then Osaka did a few Gold Plated OT05GP versions starting in 1992 and ending in 2015 with there last run of 6 which really stood out. Roboto Posted February 2, 2018 Author Share Posted February 2, 2018 A perfect addition for the collector came as the Art Box Robby done in Red OT05R for 1991 with 100 makes Osaka did a few more and last Red version came out in 2015. Osaka did one final run late 2015 not listed on charts for shipping in Jan-2016 this was on there site for a short time a nickel plated version with 20 makes using last remaining parts.
