One represents the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, just down the road from where these banks were made... The other represents my old Duty Station, now a Museum in San Diego... Thanks, though I did sell a couple of my signed Buzz specimens; A Strato Bank, and a Commemorative Satellite Bank honoring Alan Shepard's first flight into Space... MacDaddyRico Posted November 25, 2022 Author Share Posted November 25, 2022 Update 11/24/22: The Smithsonian recently opened the long-awaited remodelled section, one of several planned. One of the specimens acquired in 2011 is now featured in an exhibit. In honor of the occasion, I decided to customized yet another Vacumet 1975 reissue Bicentennial bare-from-the-factory specimen. After several years of remodelling, the Smithsonian finally opened its first of many new exhibits, and one of my gifts is now on display!
