yea, not very original, Wookie knock off....But I don't watch new Who anyway. Too PC for me.

But I like the Sontaran, looks like the old 1970s Dr. Who versions, which were very alien looking.

That is a good move.

Due out Jan-2022 cost around $45.00

Figurine Collection Magazine Special Edition #29 Gravis

Available to order in the UK from www.forbiddenplanet.com and www.shop.eaglemoss.com

Available to order in the USA from www.entertainmentearth.com

The Gravis, a cockroach-like creature that is capable of controlling an entire colony, is the terrifying Special Edition figurine joining the Doctor Who Figurine Collection.

The cunning leader of the slug-like Tractators from Doctor Who, the Gravis was the only intelligent member of his species – controlling the others like insect drones. Concealed beneath the surface of the planet Frontios, the Doctor Who Tractators used their psychic control over gravity to attack and terrify the human colonists, dragging them below the surface to act as living components in their machines.

Only the Doctor’s arrival turned the tide, revealing the truth behind “the hungry earth.” Yet the Gravis was not to be underestimated. Even as one of the Doctor Who Tractators, its mental powers were sufficient to do what few have managed… destroy the TARDIS itself!

Robert Harrop The Master – Terror of the Autons

Available to order from www.robertharrop.com

“The people I represent, Mister Farrel, can never have too much plastic.”

The Master arrives on Earth and steals the sole surviving Nestene energy unit from the National Space Museum, which was left over from the failed Nestene invasion documented in ‘Spearhead from Space’ (1970). The Nestene Conciousness is a disembodied life force, a hive mind race and a singular entity existing as energy with the ability to possess plastic.

The Master then hijacks the Beacon Hill radio telescope, which he uses as a bridgehead to channel energy from the Nestene Consciousness in space into the surviving unit. He then takes over Farrel Autoplastics, a nearby plastics factory, to build a force of Autons, plastic mannequins animated by the Nestene Consciousness, to use as soldiers for a second invasion of Earth.

Reports of the theft and hijack bring the Doctor, his assistant Jo Grant and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart to investigate.

A Limited Edition Hand painted figurine / statue from the Doctor Who Collection.

Designed, Sculpted and Made in Shropshire, England by Robert Harrop Designs.

Traditionally Hand Sculpted by Mike Rodgers.

Official BBC License. The figurine has been approved by the Doctor Who television production team at the BBC.
