Doctor Who Collection 8th Doctor Tardis Console with Collector's Magazine:

The Doctor Who TV movie featured a new design for the TARDIS' interior, which now resembled a large pseudo-Victorian parlour littered with clocks, candles, bookshelves, and furniture. This console lay at its heart, enclosed by looming metal pillars and topped with a massive astronomical scanning system.

Inspired by H. G. Wells' The Time Machine, this console's steampunk sensibilities saw it revived in numerous audio books and novels starring the Eighth and Seventh Doctors.

Figurine Collection Magazine Issue 206 Borad

Available to order from www.forbiddenplanet.com

The Doctor Who Figurine Collection part 206 features Borad from the 1985 Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) adventure ‘Timelash’.

An old enemy of the Doctor, Borad was the all-powerful dictator of the planet Karfel. A brilliant but unethical scientist, Borad fused himself with reptilian tissue to increase his own lifespan, hiding his hideous mutations from his subjects with clones and technological trickery.

Borad used his Timelash technology to dispose of dissidents, sending them back in time to 12th century Scotland. His reign ended only once the Sixth Doctor revealed his evil deeds along with his true form, driving him into a fit of madness. Ultimately, Borad was hurled into his own Timelash and stranded in the distant past – where the Doctor thought he might have become the Loch Ness Monster!

Figurine Collection Magazine Mega Genesis Dalek Special Figurine #6

Available to order from www.shop.eaglemoss.com

Also available to order from www.forbiddenplanet.com

The Daleks were created by leading Kaled scientist Davros to end the war between the Kaleds and the Thals and take power, but he was seemingly killed by his own creation. The Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) is sent to Skaro to alter the development of the Daleks or, if he can’t, to destroy them. If the Doctor can’t give the Daleks a conscience, will he rid the universe of their terror?

On Skaro, two races were fighting a generations-long war – the warrior race the Thals and a race of philosophers and teachers called the Kaleds. In an effort to end the war and house mutated Kaleds, their leading scientist and megalomaniac Davros believes that through his creations, the “Mark III travel machines” or “Daleks”, he can become the supreme being and ruler of the Universe. He uses them to arrange the extinction of his own people and the Thals, but the Daleks ultimately turn on Davros, killing his supporters and shooting him.

The figurine shows the Daleks as they appear in the 1975 adventure Genesis of the Daleks, recreated in die-cast metal as official hand-painted models. The model is accompanied by an in-depth profile magazine, including concept art and interviews about the evolution of the Doctor Who villains.

B&M 2021 History of the Daleks #8 Figure Set

Character Options is excited to announce a next wave of Doctor Who action figure sets for 2021 with five new lines scheduled to arrive in B&M stores in Mid-October.

The line-up will introduce two more action figure three packs, two further ‘History of the Daleks’ sets, plus a rather splendid “Doctor & TARDIS” set. This new wave includes highly detailed and decorated 5.5 inch scale figures with multiple points of articulation all of which come packaged in the familiar ‘heritage’ style Doctor Who collector packs with specially created insert artwork. Once again these Limited Edition figure sets all bring something fresh to the range be it the characters themselves or variants never released before.

07440 History Daleks #8 Planet of the Daleks 1972 collector figure set
This 1972 Dalek story was wildly ambitious in scope, intending to feature a full Dalek Army. The existing three props were therefore bulked out by the arrival of brand new Dalek props. The episode also gave the Daleks new voices.

In the story the Daleks have enslaved the Planet Spiradon, and are carrying out experiments into invisibility and biological weapons. Meanwhile a group of Thals from the Daleks’ home planet are already trying to thwart their plans, but unbeknown, there is an army of 10,000 Daleks hidden on the planet. This ‘army builder’ set features two ‘drone’ style Daleks as seen in the story in their full black and metallic grey splendour. Both Daleks also have new eyestalks based on one of the variants seen onscreen. Never have the Daleks looked so purposeful, militaristic and threatening onscreen.

B&M 2021 History of the Daleks #6 Figure Set

History Daleks #6 Evil of the Daleks 1967 collector figure set
The Doctor Who ‘History of the Daleks’ sets have developed their very own fan base and are sequentially staggered as before, so again these next two sets are slightly out of order to rebalance the line. The #6 The Evil of the Daleks Set is from the 1967 Second Doctor story and features two detailed Dalek figures. The first is of the imperial guard Dalek seen towards the end of the story with its black dome and is joined by a standard silver ‘drone’ Dalek. The History of the Dalek sets have unique differences and this set has different deco and two different eyestalks for the Daleks in line the first appearance of the ‘pupil’ style eye in this story.
