I thought toy sales of the first female doctor would mysteriously sell out.   Seeing as most fans can't stand the idea of a female doctor I wonder who's buying these figures?

There is another date for the above toy as the second order is out around August. Character Option once again has the license to make Dr Who toys as the company called Underground toys is no more and has been replaced by company called Seven 20.

Dr Who has changed and soon we will see as to what will become with the 13th Doctor since the Doctor can only regenerate so many times.

They have started to make many other toys for the 13th Dr.

From Harrop Collectable

There has been some criticism regarding the latest Patrick Troughton figurine, which came as a surprise as the original sculpt was largely well received. Taking all that on board, he has now been back in the painting studio and we have revised the paint pattern. With hindsight the shading on the face was probably a little too harsh, increased by camera lighting, so we've now toned that down and let the sculpt sing for itself. I personally think it looks a lot better in comparison and I do still think it's a good representation of Troughton at this scale.

Take part in Doctor Who's next adventure with the all-new Doctor Who Companions Set from the Doctor Who Figurine Collection.

First up, it's Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) with the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith). The Doctor Who figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered. Amy and the 11th Doctor are based on their look and wardrobe from the New York City-based adventure 'The Angels Take Manhattan', the final regular appearance of Amy Pond in Doctor Who.

The 11th Doctor & Amy Pond Figurine Set comes with a 20-page magazine looking at the companion's development in the long-running show, with behind-the-scenes info on the relevant story's production.

New addition for the 7th Doctor.

The Haemovores, or Homo haemovorax, were a species of vampire-like creatures that served Fenric, existing as a possible future of humanity half a million years in the future, mutated by the chemical slime of a polluted Earth. Their time stream was accessible to time travelers.

We now come to the Winders for the 11th Doctor.

The Winders were the police force of Starship UK. They were cyborgs, half-human and half-Smiler. Their heads would rotate to reveal the malevolent version of the Smiler face, with a lighter skin tone, whiter teeth, flat nose and brighter eyes. They would speak through their natural vocal cords when they were using their human faces, but talked through a speaker box when their Smiler face was in use. Most of the time they wore dark hoods to hide their Smiler features and acted like normal humans, keeping watch on the population. They were oathbound to protect the system of Starship UK.
