OMEGA
From ‘Arc of Infinity’ 1983
“I am not of your dimension, Time Lord. I have the means to enter, but without the physical imprint of bonding, I cannot remain among you.”

Travelling with Nyssa in the TARDIS, the Doctor is attacked by an unknown entity. A creature composed of antimatter which has crossed dimensions via a phenomenon known as the Arc of Infinity to bond physically with a Time Lord.

This entity is Omega, one of the legendary founders of the Time Lords who has been trapped for centuries in the antimatter universe. A traitor on Gallifrey, who reveres Omega, has stolen the Doctors biodata and chosen him as Omega’s victim.

Omega’s incursion could cause a fatal chain reaction to the universe so the High Council decide to recall the TARDIS back to Gallifrey and that the Doctor's life must be terminated in order to avoid this danger.
Despite Nyssa's attempts to save him, the Doctor is taken for execution, placed in a dispersal chamber and the sentence seemingly carried out...

Dr Who Figurine Collection 1:4.5 scale K9 Mark I

Available to order from www.masterreplicas.com

A Time Lord’s best friend

The Doctor’s robotic dog K-9 is easily one of the series’ most popular companions. Eaglemoss developed but never released a 1:4.5 scale version of K-9.

The figurine, which stands 16.5 cm tall, shows the Mark I version of K-9, which made its debut in ‘The Invisible Enemy’ and proved so popular that he ended up travelling with Tom Baker’s Fourth Doctor for the next four years. He was nearly given his own spin off with Sarah-Jane. He even returned in 2006 to help the Tenth Doctor fight the Krillitane.

DATA…

Ogron

From ‘Day of the Daleks’ 1972

“Ogrons. They're a form of higher anthropoid. They used to live in scattered communities on one of the outer planets. They make very useful servants.”

In an effort to avert World War III, a World Peace Conference has been arranged by British Diplomat Sir Reginald Styles. Whilst working late one night, Sir Reginald is attacked by a man carrying a futuristic-looking weapon, who then suddenly disappears into thin air. The incident is reported to UNIT H.Q., prompting Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, the Doctor and his companion Jo to investigate.

A man dressed similarly to Sir Reginald’s attacker is found unconscious and the Doctor deduces that a device found with him is a crude time machine and that he has come from the future. Later, the Doctor learns that the attackers are in fact freedom fighters from Earth in the 22nd Century. Daleks have invaded and enslaved the planet using Ogrons, an aggressive race of ape-like humanoids, as mercenaries to control the human population.

The freedom fighters have travelled back in time to alter Earth’s history. They believe that Sir Reginald is responsible for an explosion at the World Peace Conference, which instigated a series of wars that left Earth vulnerable to the Dalek invasion…
