Doctor Who The Tom Baker Record Collection Vinyl LP

Available to order from www.amazon.co.uk

“My life is an endless journey across the bounds of Space and Time…”

Limited to just 600 and each including a signed print from Tom Baker, Demon Records celebrates Tom Baker’s unique portrayal of the famous Time Lord, almost 50 years after he made his debut in the role. This limited edition 4 LP vinyl box set mixes thrilling audio drama with interviews and readings by the man
himself.

Genesis of the Daleks is the original 1979 album version of the legendary TV serial, whilst Doctor Who and the Pescatons is the made-for-vinyl audio drama first released in 1976. Exploration Earth: The Time Machine is an adventure specially produced by BBC Schools Radio in 1976, and The State of Decay is a unique audiobook reading from 1982. The collection is completed by a selection of BBC radio interviews with Tom Baker made in the 1970s and 1980s.

Presented inside an eye-catching Fourth Doctor O-ring sleeve, this Dalek-fronted quad pack design houses 4 x 140g LPs in Orange, Green, Blue & Red vinyl, each with full cast & credits and its own brand new graphic design. Every copy of this release also includes an exclusive, frameable photograph of the Fourth Doctor, hand signed by Tom Baker himself.

Co-starring Elisabeth Sladen, Ian Marter, Bill Mitchell and John Westbrook, and accompanied by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop’s familiar Doctor Who theme, these dramas, readings and interviews are a fitting way to celebrate one of the most celebrated Doctors of all.

Rubbertoe Replicas The 14th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver cost around $665.00

For more images and to order please visit www.rubbertoereplicas.com

Rubbertoe Replicas is pleased to present a faithful replica of the brand-new Fourteenth Doctors Sonic Screwdriver, designed for the regenerated Fourteenth Doctor, played by David Tennant. The Fourteenth Doctor’s Sonic was principally designed by Doctor Who Props Art Director Michael Van Kesteren, with input and guidance from Production Designer Phil Sims.

When Michael initially started thinking about design concepts for the Fourteenth Sonic, he decided to completely immerse himself in Doctor Who by re-watching the whole series from beginning to end, from William Hartnell through to the present day. Michael then got hold of all the previous sonic screwdriver toys and replicas he could get his hands on and studied them in order to, in his own words, “absorb the language of the sonics that had come before.”

An astonishing sixty-seven initial design sketches and concepts were then produced by Michael, to try and create a design that captured something of the essence of previous incarnations of this iconic prop, whilst remaining something fresh, new and uniquely of itself. Sixty-seven ideas were eventually whittled down to fourteen, and with tweaks and input from Phil Sims and the show’s producers, the final design was eventually locked down…
