Lost In Space 2018 J2 Jupiter II 1/144 Scale Model Kit:

The creators of the 2018 reboot of Irwin Allen's "Lost in Space" eschewed the kitschy ethos of the 1960s original and attempted to take a semi-serious approach to the process of interstellar colonization. Instead of a single family being sent off in a flying saucer, we were presented with hundreds of colonists aboard the massive starship Resolute, the Jupiter 2 being just one of its 30 atmospheric-capable landing craft.

The re-imagined J2 contained echoes of the original 1960s "flying saucer," but seemed far more realistic (at least by 21st century standards), both inside and out. (Although that its front was wholly non-aerodynamic does raise of quizzical eyebrow.) Perhaps its most unusual features were the landing rocket assemblies that emerged from the sides of the ship, a clear nod to extendable star drives on the even weirder J2 created for the 1998 feature film.

Scale: 1:144
Number of Pieces: 68
Length: 12 inches (30.48 cm)
Pattern: Alfred Wong
Casting: Mana Studios
Decals Designed by JBOT
Decals Printed by Tango Papa
Can be built in either the in-flight or landed configuration.
