American Gothic Press announced it will launch Lost In Space: The Lost Adventuresas their next epic Sci-Fi comic book series. The books will come out in March 2016 as a special six issue series.

Two unproduced Lost In Space teleplays written by acclaimed television writer Carey Wilber, who wrote episodes of Star Trek, Lost In Space, Rawhide and The Time Tunnel, were found in the Irwin Allen Archives. The first story arc is an adaptation of Wilber’s “The Curious Galactics.”

The never-before-seen episodes will be adapted into a comic book series by American Gothic’s Holly Interlandi, with interior artwork by Kostas Pantoulas (Metal Girl) and colors by Patrick McEvoy (Fall Of Cthulhu).

The series is being overseen by prolific television producer Kevin Burns (Ancient Aliens, The Curse Of Oak Island, Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed).

Lost In Space captured the imagination of an entire generation back in the 1960s. Even after fifty years, it continues to inspire the today’s top scienceicon1.png fiction and fantasy writers,” Burns said in a statement.

“Finding these scripts, and realizing them in the form of comic books, gives us a rare peek into what Irwin had in mind for the series’ much anticipated fourth season.”

Lost In Space is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2015, was canceled in 1968 after a run of 83 episodes. American Gothic Press announced that it licensed of Irwin Allen’s classic sci-fi series the Famous Monsters panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Burns developed and produced a number of Irwin Allen-themed projectsicon1.png and television specials over the years. He and Legendary Television are currently developing a new, updated version of Lost In Space for Netflix.

Lost In Space B-9 Robot Antimatter Electronic Action Figure: Coming as a pre-order around October.

Warning, warning! Diamond Select Toys has taken their 10-inch rendition of B-9, the friendly helper robot from Lost in Space, and transported it to another dimension! This Anti-Matter version features a fresh paint scheme, as seen in the episode "The Anti-Matter Man," and features lights and sounds taken straight from the classic sci-fi TV show. Lights on his head and chest blink constantly while B-9 is on, and additional lights and "anti-matter" dialogue are triggered with the push of a button. Quotes include, "This is the opposite world," "So you're the goody-goody one," and I" don't need help from you, punk - get lost!" You can also manually raise and lower his head, open and close his claws, extend his arms and turn his torso to the left and right. He even has wheels so you can roll him around! Comes packaged in full-color window box with try-me feature. The cost is around $40.00 as a pre-order and so far Entertainment Earth has a very low price.

I got a reply today from Diamond Select toys and for now they have not determined if there will be a limited run on the Anti-matter B-9 if so then the Golden boy will become the only limited run made.

Well...I have a preorder in for the anti matter robot at Entertainment Earth. Apparently they plan on having them unless Diamond Select changed their mind.

Diamond Select will have the Anti-matter B-9 out later this Summer or in early Autumn we will see if they will have it as a limited run like the Golden Boy or just make a lot of them.

If the B-9 sales work out we just may see a version done on Robby which would be great to see and would be a perfect addition along side B-9.

The fourth (and final) issue of the new Lost In Space comic is now available for pre-order. Like the first three issues, there is an "A" cover and a "B" cover, "A" being an illustrated cover and "B" being a photo cover. From the covers, it looks like this issue will be based on the infamous "Malice in Wonderspace" script.

I wonder who the Mad Hatter looks like.

For all of us who grew up in the 1960's, Lost in Space holds a special place and time in our memories. Now you can own this beautiful tribute to Irwin Allen's SciFi adventure. The limited edition lithograph was created by James Curr. There are only 995 of the 24" X 32" lithographs and only 100 of those are signed by living cast members.

The signed version sell for around $2,000.00 and the unsigned version for around $150.00.
